At Aqua Medical Spa, we use BLU-U® therapy, a blue broad-based fluorescent light, and a topical solution to kill the acne-causing bacteria in oil glands. This bacteria, when left untreated, worsens acne by causing additional inflammation and allowing it to spread. BLU-U is non-invasive, comfortable and quick, with the best results typically occurring after a series of sessions. Our spa team will explain the precautions you will need to take after your treatment to maximize results and prevent skin damage.
We also use fractional ablative laser treatments to effectively eliminate light acne scarring by targeting small areas of the skin, leaving other areas of the skin untouched. This in turn, stimulates the production of collagen, eradicating undesired pigment cells and rejuvenating the skin’s overall healthy appearance. Fractional resurfacing also has the added benefit of being able to penetrate deeper into the skin than other resurfacing options – with a faster recovery time. And, in some of our locations, our dermatologists may recommend the use of our Sensus SRT-100™ device to remove keloid overgrowths in scar tissue.
At Aqua Medical Spa, our laser hair removal system can effectively reduce unwanted hair in almost any area of your body. The treatment works by targeting individual hair follicles with laser energy that permanently damages the targeted hair follicles’ roots preventing the future growth of hair in the area being treated. Treatment can be as brief as a few minutes for small areas such as the lip and chin, or longer for surfaces such as the back and legs, and it typically takes several treatments for the best results. Splendor X is the world’s first hybrid laser hair removal using two wavelengths simultaneously at once to target the hair and its blood supply. It also uses the best wavelengths for treating fair and light skin tones with its Alexandrite Wavelength as well as the best wavelength for treating tan and darker skin tones with its Nd:YAG Wavelength.
It kills the hairs and closes the follicle by targeting the melanin in the hair to heat it up and destroy it which greatly slows the hair regrowth in all treated areas.

Sclerotherapy
Sclerotherapy is an injectable vein treatment that is often used in conjunction with laser vein therapy. It involves injecting a solution directly into the varicose or spider veins. The problem vein then collapses and is reabsorbed, and the body redirects the blood to a healthy vein, restoring proper circulation and clear skin.
Depending on the severity of the problem area, the treatment could involve multiple injections and sessions. Our spa team will explain the precautions you will need to take after your treatment to help you maximize your results.
A great idea then, but not so much now. Well no one said you have to live with your tattoo forever, did they? The good news – our team can use today’s laser technology to erase your unwanted tattoos of all shapes, colors and sizes, while leaving your surrounding skin untouched. This is accomplished by using laser rays to help to break up the pigmentation of the tattoo and continuing treatments until your tattoo is completely eliminated.
Unlike some tattoo removal procedures, laser treatments have relatively little risk of scarring. Our medical providers will help determine how many visits will be required to remove your tattoo, depending on its size, age and detail.
