Sarah Miller is a certified physician assistant who received her Bachelor of Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her MMSc-PA from Emory University’s School of Medicine Physician Assistant program. While at Emory, Sarah was one of two students that graduated with a dual-degree (PA/MPH) from Rollins School of Public Health in addition to her physician assistant studies. During her time at Emory, Sarah was a Global Health Institute Field Scholar, which allowed her to conduct public health research abroad in Ethiopia. Sarah is board certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the Georgia Composite Medical Board.

Sarah comes from a background of extensive training and experience from Emory University. Prior to joining the field of dermatology, she worked in internal medicine. Through her experience in internal medicine, she was exposed to various dermatologic disease processes and diagnoses and became very passionate about dermatology. Sarah is a member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) as well as Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants (GDPA).

Sarah has a strong desire to not only provide outstanding individualized care to her patients, but also educate her patients about their health and long-term prevention methods. Her devotion to helping others is emphasized through her extensive volunteer and research commitments.

Interestingly, Sarah worked abroad on health projects in Peru and Honduras prior to continuing her education at Emory. Sarah is originally from North Carolina and now resides in Atlanta with her husband, Joey, and their wonderful chocolate labs.
