Dr. Iluba is one of a premier group of dermatologists in the country that is double board certified in both dermatology and Mohs surgery. She earned her medical degree at Harvard Medical School and her medical internship at Yale University. She completed her residency in dermatology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She then went on to complete a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at University of Louisville. She has been a recipient of the “Top Doctor Award” and “Americas Most Honored Doctors Award” and “Exceptional Woman in Medicine Award” for several years. She has published papers in prestigious medical journals. Dr. Iluba’s work also includes volunteering for community-wide skin cancer screenings and serving on mission trips in Nicaragua where she provided general and surgical dermatology for the underserved indigent population. She volunteers as a reviewer for the Journal of American Academy of Dermatology and the Journal of Dermatologic Surgery.
Her areas of expertise include diagnosing and treating skin cancer as well as the wide range of dermatologic conditions that affect the skin, hair and nails. As a Mohs surgeon, Dr. Iluba also takes great pride in educating her patients on the importance of getting an annual skin exam to detect skin cancer early. And when skin cancer is detected, Dr. Iluba is committed to making sure her patients receive the best possible care when it comes to treating and eliminating their skin cancer.
She is a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Iluba enjoys reading suspense novels, traveling, and spending time with family.
