With our state-of-the-art laser technology, we can help you achieve a smoother texture, eliminate fine lines and wrinkles, improve your skin tone and color, and create a more youthful appearance. Laser treatments can remove the dark spots caused by sun damage (sun or age spots), reduce redness, smooth scars, treat acne, correct unsightly veins, and eliminate regretful tattoos.
Our medical providers use fractional ablative and non-ablative laser technology to rejuvenate your skin's tone, texture, laxity and color, restoring a youthful appearance. We specifically target hyper pigmentation (age spots), wrinkles and scarring. Our state of the art devices allow our physicians to carefully remove outer layers of skin with optimal precision, so the underlying layers can naturally replace that damaged skin with healthy, fresh tissue.
A series of treatments may be recommended for maximized results. Time of treatment varies depending on the area treated. Our physician and spa team can help you determine the best laser treatment for your skin.

What can I expect from my skin resurfacing procedure?
Laser skin resurfacing is a broad term describing restorative treatments that provide smoother texture, eliminate fine lines and wrinkles, remove hyperpigmentation and redness, and create healthier, younger skin. Your medical provider will examine your skin, discuss your desires and expectations for results, and also your available downtime after the procedure. Intensive ablation of the skin provides dramatic results, but also requires more time for recovery. Lighter resurfacing may provide the change you desire, with little downtime. The ultimate outcome will depend on the depth of the resurfacing, and the process of healing and rejuvenation. Your provider will give you the information you need so you can make the decision that is best for you.
Laser hair removal is a safe and effective way to get rid of unwanted hair on your chin, upper lip, underarm, bikini line or elsewhere on your body. Highly concentrated light rays destroy hair follicles at the root and prevent or greatly reduce regrowth.
Treatment can be as brief as a few minutes for small areas such as the lip and chin, or longer for surfaces such as the back and legs. Laser hair removal typically takes several treatments for the best results.
Depending on your individual skin, our medical providers will recommend removal using Nd:YAG lasers or intense pulsed light (IPL) treatments.
Acne & Scar Treatments
Blu-U is a special therapy using a blue broad-based fluorescent light and a topical solution to kill acne-causing bacteria in your oil glands. Left untreated, these bacteria can worsen acne by causing additional inflammation and allowing it to spread. Blu-U is non-invasive, comfortable, and quick, with the best results typically occurring after a series of sessions. Our team will explain the precautions you will need to take after your treatment to maximize results and prevent skin damage.
Fractional Laser Resurfacing
The fractional ablative laser we use at Aqua Medical Spa precisely eliminates light acne scarring by targeting small areas of the skin, leaving other areas of the skin untouched. It stimulates the production of collagen, eradicating undesired pigment cells and rejuvenating your skin's appearance. Fractional resurfacing has the added benefit of penetrating deeper into the skin than other resurfacing options – with a quicker recovery time.
In some of our locations, our dermatologists may recommend the use of our Sensus SRT-100 device to remove keloid overgrowths in scar tissue. Talk to your dermatologist to see if superficial radiotherapy might be a treatment option for you.
Everyone makes mistakes, but you don’t have to live with yours forever. Our medical providers use laser treatments to erase unwanted tattoos of all shapes, colors, and sizes while leaving surrounding skin untouched. The laser helps to break up the pigmentation of the tattoo, so that over several treatments tattoos are completely eliminated.
Unlike some tattoo removal procedures, laser treatments have relatively little risk of scarring. Our medical providers will help determine how many visits will be required to remove your tattoo, depending on its size, age, and detail.
If you’re suffering from painful vascular lesions like spider or varicose veins, a combination of laser therapy and vein injections (sclerotherapy) treatments can help eliminate your discomfort and restore clear skin and healthy veins.
Laser Vein Therapy
At Aqua Medical Spa, we use the Candela® V-beam laser, the Cynosure® Cynergy, and Nd:YAG laser technology to treat spider veins by delivering pulses of light to problem areas, which causes the vessels to fade, disappear, and be naturally eliminated. This therapy can also be combined with sclerotherapy, an injectable vein treatment. Our team will help you determine which is the best and safest option for you.
Sclerotherapy is an injectable vein treatment that is often used in conjunction with laser vein therapy. It involves injecting a solution directly into the varicose or spider veins. The problem vein collapses and is reabsorbed, and the body redirects the blood to a healthy vein, restoring proper circulation and clear skin.
Depending on the severity of the problem area, the treatment could involve multiple injections and sessions. Our medical providers will explain the precautions you will need to take after your treatment to help you maximize your results.
